Marco Sfogli Guitar Clinic @MMI Perugia

As a Guitar Player it’s been a great honor to attend Marco Sfogli’s Guitar Clinic in my home town a few weeks ago.
For those who don’t know, Marco is a very talented Italian guitar player that has recorded two solo album ( There's Hope and reMarcoble ) and that has cooperate with James LaBrie, Dream Theater singer.

The event was hosted by my music school, MMI Perugia, and I have to thank them for giving us the opportunity to hear Marco play.
Marco has been very kind, giving a lot of advices about Playing, composing and the world of music in general, and has also performed a lot of his most amazing songs.

There’s not much else to say, I already was a fan of Marco Sfogli but after meeting him I can also say that he’s an amazing and nice person, and that’s great from a famous musician like he is.

In the end I can only say thanks to Marco for this amazing Guitar Clinic, hoping to meet you again as soon as possible.

Coltre Live @Locanda Atlantide Roma

Coltre it's an Italian Groove/Prog Metal band, established in Rome, Italy, during December 2012.

The line up composed by Davide (vocals), Valerio and David (guitars), Gianluca (bass) and Andrea (drums) performed in Rome February the 2nd 2014.

 

The sound of this guys it's great, a mix of groovie and heavy riffs, fast solos, melodic sections with a lot of different influences.  
The guitars are powerfull, the bass groovie, the drums crazy and the vocal very enjoyable.

The show has been lovely, five great songs, articulated but never boring, with a nice presence on the stage by all the guys that warmed up the audience since the first chord.

One last mention goes to David, that was at his very first live show ever.
He really nailed it like a boss (gg David).
